Wind power generation has gained popularity as a renewable energy, with wind power turbines being constructed throughout Japan. In recent years, off-shore wind power generation has been attracting growing attention.
In the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011, it was reported that no wind turbines were damaged. On the other hand, rescue operations were delayed due to power blackouts in disaster-stricken areas.
We develop innovative on-shore and off-shore wind power generation proposals that not only supply vital electricity in an emergency – particularly vital in Japan where major disasters continue to be forecast – but that also have a positive impact on the local economy and community in normal times.
