Kokusai Kogyo’s Chairperson and CEO joins statement in support of TCFD recommendations

Kokusai Kogyo’s Chairperson and CEO Sandra Wu, Wen-Hsiu has called for mainstreaming disclosure of climate risks, together with 27 CEOs from the Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders convened by the World Economic Forum.

In a new statement released on 21 April 2017, the CEOs strongly support the recommendations of the industry-led Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) convened by the Financial Stability Board, stating that “[t]imely implementation of the recommendations is an important step towards delivering the commitments of the Paris Agreement and keeping global warming to well below 2°C. Enhanced disclosure will also enable better assessment of financial stability implications and help support an orderly transition to a low-carbon economy.”

Kokusai Kogyo will continue to provide solutions for climate change mitigation as well as climate change adaptation via our core competency, geospatial information, to our private and public sector clients.
