Using electricity in the same area that it is generated is extremely efficient because it eliminates transmission losses. Electricity generated by dispersed power systems using renewable energy, particularly solar PV, can be used in the same area it is produced. Kokusai Kogyo supports the development of funds and public funding schemes and renewable energy projects that are tailored to local needs. We also help develop partnerships between local governments to allow urban councils with restricted space to develop remotely located renewable energy plants.
